  1. FORTUNE.EXE (6.11):  A tuner-upper for
  2. the DOS FOR command.  Generates a batch
  3. file (typically) which does all those
  4. wildcard things you wished FOR could do
  5. (like "FORTUNE IN (*.BAS) DO RENAME %A
  6. %2*.*" to remove parts of file names).
  7. Lets you do all sorts of things
  8. including distinguishing file name roots
  9. from their extensions as well as
  10. incrementing file names by specified
  11. values.  Freeware.
